About Us
As one of the scholarship providers and charitable organizations in the United States of America ("U.S."), the World Hongming Foundation ("The Foundation") was initially incorporated by Professor Dr. Hengyucius, Professor Dr. Darui Long and a number of university scholars in California, USA in October 2002.
The Foundation was approved by U.S. Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public foundation for both charitable and educational purposes in 2003.
The Foundation is now based in Washington with focuses on disaster relief, historic projects, scholarships, international academic exchanges, international conferences, in addition to financial aids worldwide.
Per U.S. Law, a public foundation is also called a “grant-making public charity.”
As a public foundation, the Foundation raises money from the general public, such as individuals and for-profit business entities, in addition to other non-profit foundations and organizations, to provide grants per the Foundation’s policy and funding criteria.
To date, the Foundation has sponsored a number of organizations and professional events. It takes pride in offering scholarships and assistance per the scope of the Foundation.
The Foundation is continuously dedicated to serving the needs of various communities and historic projects. Without your generous donations, we would not exist, nor succeed.
